Based in Hong Kong, Cheng-Lan's Corner runs a year-round, residency-based exhibition and commissioning programme giving time and space to artistic practices reimagining our global story. It champions voices from the global majority and honours diasporic experiences. Through artist-centred dialogue, we uncover plural histories, attend to unsung narratives in overlooked interiors and marginal spaces, and reframe relationships between local and global, centre and periphery, mainstream and marginal.
From 2027, our annual programme comprises two intensive residency cycles culminating in an exhibition at our public space on Prince's Terrace, Hong Kong. We invite artists to Hong Kong, support their research, and co-develop new projects. In this historically open city of flows—of people, commerce, and inherited histories—we aim to provide fertile ground for deep research and reflection on labour, ecology, migration, colonial exchange, and cultural memory.
Opening hours: Wednesday–Sunday, 12:00–19:00.
